Vincent will have more and more difficulties controlling Chaos as the years pass, and will snap in year nine. Someone's already stopping him, but Shepard could have tried and failed before!

She's also one of the few who would probably notice that every time he changes, it's taking longer and longer for him to come back or he's blacking out for longer periods. He will have become extremely withdrawn by the end of year ten.

I would love to be part of this! At first she'd probably try to keep him under control as a friend, until it reaches the point of no return and he turns into an adversary?

Well, not exactly, because Chaos is not actually evil, so he would not turn into an enemy, just the big bat thing inside Vincent being out.

He will snap in year nine following the death of Sephiroth during the personality switch event. That will affect Chaos too and he'll go on a rampage. I've already planned with Break-mun that he will be the one to stop him (and dying int eh process to maximise angst for Vincent), but Shepard could be a part of the first wave of fight the giant bat.

The result is that Vincent will be extremely withdrawn after wards, because he'll think he's a danger to everyone he cares about.

Ah ok! Thanks for the clarification. I am not familiar with most of the Final Fantasy franchise.


Definitely include Shepard in that first wave. She'll probably dispatch her entire squad against it and be wounded in battle.

In canon, Chaos is Omega's squire. Omega is the entity that brings about the end of the world, and Chaos is supposed to bring all souls to him when that happens. But while he looks impressive, he doesn't really have a notion of good and evil. He's more like a force of nature, with no real understanding of human feelings and values.

Goodie! He'll feel guilty towards her if he hurt her then and probably would try to avoid her. Break-mun has decided that Break will use this guilt to reach out to Vincent and use him as a sort of servant/handyman to force him to interact with people.

Shepard would understand guilt all too well. (Deciding the fate of entire races does that to a person) So she'd probably pursue him after all that stuff happened if that'd be alright!
